Situated at the corner of Schinz and Thrift streets in Windhoek’s Ausspannplatz, Erase Aesthetics was launched last Saturday.
Managing director Ellona Guriras says the business aims to redefine Namibian beauty.
“Erase Aesthetics is the only establishment with the latest emsculpting fat burn and muscle building machine in Windhoek. We would like to give our potential clients the best results and also bring back their confidence,” she says.
However, Guriras stresses that her services are not a gym or exercise replacement.
“We help you reduce the stubborn fat that is sometimes hard to get rid of even when you have been exercising and we also give you a kick-start in burning fat and building muscle for that ‘summer body’.”
Guriras started a home studio that provided eyelash extension services in 2018. She soon became interested in body contouring, because despite working out she found she couldn’t get rid of some stubborn tummy fat.
“I had to find an alternative way to reduce the tummy fat, so I did some research and attended a few courses in Johannesburg, South Africa,” she says.
If a client is struggling with tummy fat, Erase Aesthetics conducts a consultation with them to determine the number of cavitation sessions needed. The same goes for emsculpting, radio frequency and laser hair removal services,” Guriras says.
Across the country there has been noticeable growth especially in this sector, as the demand for non-surgical services gradually grows, boosted by the relatable and reliable results. Guriras, however, believes more must be done to educate people about the importance and benefits of the services they offer.
“We need to educate people more on what non-surgical body contouring is and also make the service more affordable for clients to get the best results,” she says.
Erase Aesthetics currently employs two staff members, while Guriras personally conducts all the services as a qualified aesthetician.
